ABOUT US.

The team at the Bingara Community Practice are focused on providing a holistic health care service for all patients.

​

The General Practice services are combined with visiting Specialists, Allied Health Professionals, and Community Health Services including Optometrist- Dr Ross Cooper, Physiotherapist- Mr Leigh Miller and Laverty Pathology collection services.

FEES AND BILLING

From 1 July 2024 standard consultations will require payment of $80 for non-concession card holders. At the time of consultation, the practice will claim the Medicare refund for you  (approximately $42) which will appear in your account the following day.

It will be necessary that Medicare has your bank details for this refund to be processed. Longer appointments will incur a higher fee.

All chronic disease management items will continue to be bulk billed as will minor surgical procedures and nurse procedures.

APPOINTMENTS

Appointments are essential, to book call 02 6724 1900 or visit HOTDOC to make an appointment online. Every effort will be made to accommodate your preferred GP, time, and date.

 

Emergencies will always be given priority and staff will try to contact you if there is a delay or your GP has been called out.

 

If you require extra time with the GP, for example, for procedures or employment medicals, please ask reception to book a longer consultation.

If more than one person in your family requires an appointment, please make an appointment for each person so they get the time they deserve for their consult.

 

If you or a family member requires an interpreter service, we can organise this for you. Please let us know when you make the appointment.
